larger font during boot (and on console terminals

Hi!


Did anyone (Marek? 8-) ) ever try getting a larger font for text output
from booting to the consoles started later on? i succeeded to add an
option to xen.conf but this setting is lost after the next console reset
during boot and changing vconsole.conf didn't help either. Running into
problems during booting (like after installing Qubes on btrfs) means
deciphering characters of about 1mm in height...
