Boot option not appearing (qubes 3.2.1)

I finally got qubes 3.2.1 to install in UEFI mode, and the xen.cfg is there and I can see the efi boot manager entry by using efibootmgr. However, there is no boot option for qubes. What could be causing this?

Nevermind, got it fixed shortly after this post. I fixed it by following the steps "Boot device not recognized after installing" taken from https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/uefi-troubleshooting/

I am now having an issue booting... havent figured out what it is yet though.
