Current sys-whonix in 3.1-rc2 triggers a bug in
4.1.13-8.pvops.qubes.x86_64 kernel resulting in oops sometimes when
starting VMs (or maybe only dispVMs?) behind it. I opened issue 1753
about it.

This seems to already be patched in upstream linux kernel:
https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/540946/

Any chance we could see this quickly pulled into the qubes domU kernel?

Yes, will be there somehow next week. Unfortunately it will probably
miss upcoming R3.1-rc3, but will be available as an update. You'll
receive automatic notification from github when package will be
uploaded.

I see this patch have missed recent 4.1.18 stable update, but it is in
4.4 tree.

Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
