With the help of Frédéric Pierret(many thanks again) I've recently updated my Qubes r4.1 fc31 to kernel 5.6-rc4(due lack of Nvidia rtx 2080 support under the old kernel).
Now the NV card works properly but I've lost the WiFi connection (under sys-net vm).
I must mention it used to works perfectly on the older kernel version(actually any version up to 5.6, including 5.5.9 freshly compiled).
I also updated the sys-net vm kernel verision to 5.6-rcX but I still have the issue.
the WIFI card is attached to sys-net:

Did you also switched sys-net to 5.6 kernel?
Also, when you built 5.6 kernel, did you have some issues with any
patches? Especially
0014-xen-pciback-add-attribute-to-allow-MSI-enable-flag-w.patch is
important (in dom0) for various PCI devices to work in sys-net and
sys-usb.

What happens if you switch it back to 5.5 or older?

Hi Marek,

Thank you for your reply.

1. Yes, I've been tried kernel 5.6 in sys-net as well. No changes, same issue.
I didn't get any errors while compiling. I had a problem with grub configuration after installing the kernel but I've sort it manually. I also tried the latest-kernel compiled by Frédéric and same results.

2. When I switch back to 5.5x I'm losing my grafic card. It runs with nomodeset only. (doesn't work with rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau)
It is not frozen but it looks like it takes a much bigger resolution(I have 1920x1080). Also under 5.5 I've been tried to install the nvidia driver from rpm fusion negatico and the proprietary driver from nvidia directly. please see the attached image. this is the result.

After a closer look the patch:
0014-xen-pciback-add-attribute-to-allow-MSI-enable-flag-w.patch
was not even added to kernel. I will add it and re compile it.
Thank you very much
