fedora 26 is coming out july 4, debian 9 should be out in a couple weeks, so should be stable(ish) by then. would a couple weeks after the f26 release be a good time for 3.2.1?

the sad problem with fedora releases is their short life span, but that also helps them have more modern drivers.

The current plan is to release 3.2.1 with Fedora 25 template. It is
currently blocked on kernel 4.9 update, which still have some problems:
https://github.com/QubesOS/updates-status/issues/55
https://github.com/QubesOS/qubes-issues/issues/2840

As for Fedora 26 template - I've tried to build it already, but at least
Xen build fails, most likely because of too new gcc. So, for 3.2.1 we'll
stay with f25.

A brief reminder that Debian 9 will be released in June...

June 17, to be exact (assuming no delays).

It would be nice to wait until that's out along with the new release of
Whonix, since Qubes seems to already work well with stretch (although I
did try to build a template using qubes-builder a while back and that
failed; I had to manually update a debian-8 template instead) and that
would save on some bandwidth for those who'd want to immediately update
from debian-8.
