Hey,

Just a(nother) heads-up that we're upgrading to Hibernate ORM 7.0 in Quarkus 3.24.0. The upgrade is part of 3.24.0.CR1.

As with any major bump, breaking changes are to be expected, though this won't be as big a pain as the 6.x upgrade (by far). You can find details in the migration guide: https://github.com/quarkusio/quarkus/wiki/Migration-Guide-3.24#jakarta-persistence-hibernate-orm

Please let me know ASAP if you encounter any issues. I was told Camel in particular might have problems, can anyone confirm/deny?

Thanks.

I don't think there are any issues. The Camel Quarkus JPA extension tests are passing.
