Hi,

Yes, you should be able to use iSCSI. The documentation for iSCSI connections to a VTL from their website should help.

Is there any information from quadstor on this? I followed the guide below and the iseries says that the iscsi connection is active and I see connections come in to the VTL server but no devices are ever created.

Hi,

Please try the following.

Edit /quadstorvtl/etc/quadstor.conf and add the line

CmdDebug=1

Then run the command

/quadstorvtl/bin/vtconfig --reload

Please disconnect and reconnect to the devices and send the diagnostic logs (HTML UI -> System Page -> Run Diagnostics). If you have tcpdump/wireshark running during the connect that dump will be helpful too.
