Hi Everyone,

I know the new update for PS5 is frustrating for many of you that are using the Cronus Zen adapter to play on the PS5. Until they come up with a fix, I did confirm that the Beloader Besavior adapter does still work despite the update. I have multiple Quadstick users who are still using this adapter and were not affected at all by the latest PS5 update. This is also a direct connection method and does NOT use remote play.

I had a previous video on how to set this up which is posted below:

Here is the link to the adapter:

I do not think this connection method will be affected as much by new PS5 updates compared to other adapters since this adapter essentially acts directly as a PS5 controller and the controller itself updates with the console as new PS5 controller updates are released.

Hopefully this helps some Quadstick gamers!

It looks like you might be able to choose to set up your Internet connection at a later time when hooking up your PS5. That would allow you to disable automatic updates in your settings before hooking up to the Internet. You could probably avoid the update by doing that.

I let my PS5 update and did some experimenting with a Cronus Zen and Remote Play on Android.  This could be helpful for Zen users who do not have access to a PC for remote play, however you will still need one to prepare the Zen prior to use.

These are the settings for the Zen using Zen Studio:

Emulator output protocol set to Playstation 4 and Enable PS Remote Play.

Connect the Zen output port to an OTG USB cable from the Android device, with either a DS4 or Dual Sense controller connected to A1 and the Quadstick connected to A3.  Have the controllers both OFF and connected to the Zen before plugging the OTG cable it and powering up the Zen.

The PC version of PS Remote Play does not need the Sony controller plugged into the A1 auth port, the Android version did.

My PlayStation 5 did not update and is working fine, but my question is whether I will eventually have to update to keep up with new games as they are released?

You will be forced to update at some point.  Particularly for any on-line games.

We are hoping that Cronus comes out with an update soon.
