the PlayStation5 work with The Quad Stick. I was wondering if you knew of any new adapters on the market besides the Brooks Fighter Adapter? I can't find anything that would as of right now suit my needs. Let's face it for people with limited hand eye coordination the PS five accessibility controller project voyager is a complete joke in my opinion. Can you offer any viable solution aside from the Kronos Zen which seems to be hit and miss in my opinion? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I got the P5Mate to work pretty consistently.

Set the quadstick to boot in PS4 USB mode with the Titan Two flag turned on.  Firmware build 2365 or later.

Hi Fred,
unfortunately I can't get the P5 Mate working.
P5 Mate can definitely send signals because the original controller is working when it's plugged into the P5 Mate.
Bluetooth of the PS is turned off.
What do I miss? Connecting the original controller to the QuadStick like for the PS4 didn't worked too.

Try activating the PS button on the Quadstick:

I tested it today with the latest PS5 system software update installed and it worked for me.

I first get the Dual Sense controller working through the P5Mate, logged in at the home screen, then I unplug the DS and plug in the quadstick.  Sometimes it needs a short PS button (soft sip on the center hole in the default config) to wake up the connection.   Very short, don't hold the sip.  Release it as soon as you hear the beep.  Sometimes it connects right away without the PS button.

The quadstick preference settings are Boot in PS4 USB mode and Titan Two flag on.

Are you using the A-to-A cable between the P5Mate and the console?   The other A-to-C cable is only for power, it will not work as the main cable.

Another troubleshooting test would be connect the P5Mate to the PC, start the joy.cpl control panel program, or visit http://test.quadstick.com and see if the quadstick works with it for that.

Try updating the firmware in the P5Mate.  I've got two here, one with stock firmware and the other updated to P5Mate.202406131956.

To update, only use the Windows Edge browser, according to them.

My PS5 is also configured for the Cronus Zen, with Bluetooth turned off and USB only for the controller, if that matters.

Yes we use the standard USB cable and connect it on the front side.
We'll try the other stuff in the next weeks because of a big trade fair next week: I'll update you after testing!

Oh, but if it works with the Cronus Zen too it would be interesting how to set it up.

Is there any way you can show us, I've been having the same problem too, I follow the instructions, and every time I connect the quadstick to the p5mate and low sip on the center mouthpiece it doesn't connect and it sounds like it has low power

I use the P5Mate and it works just fine for me.

Quadstick firmware 2328, with Titan Two Flag turned ON

Haven’t updated the P5Mate so using whatever firmware it was shipped with on August 28, 2024.

But when setting up, I did run into issues where the PS5 controller would work fine hooked up to the P5Mate but when I would unplug it and plug the Quadstick in… it wouldn't work.

If that happened, I would unplug the P5Mate from the back of the PS5 for two seconds, and then plug it back in again, and it would work with the Quadstick.

This happened a lot while troubleshooting since I use 2 long USB cables to connect to the PlayStation from where I sit with the Quadstick.

Set up goes like this… Quad stick > P5Mate > Powered USB Switch > 6ft USB extender > 10ft USB cable > PS5

Only had to do it during initial set up. No unplugging needed or anything since… which would be close to a month now, playing daily.

So give it a shot if you haven't tried unplugging it from the PlayStation for a second and then plug it back in and see if the Quadstick works through the P5Mate.

*Also, I have to activate the PS button twice on the Quadstick for it to work after turning the PS5 on.

Hopefully this helps someone!

I should also mention that I do not have power plugged into the P5Mate
