what is the difference between the two QMP programs?

just wondering what the difference is between LEGACY QMP V3.09.2 INSTALLER and QMP V4+ INSTALLER as I accidentally deleted whatever version of QMP i had previously installed. Thanks for any information on the subject.

The old one is left up for people who still use the Cronus Max Plus (no longer made) or the Console Titan One (still available) devices via their PCPROG port to control a console while the Quadstick is connected to the PC.

The new one has support for the ViGEmBus virtual controller and a bunch of other changes.  It is no longer compatible with the Cronus Max Plus or Titan One.
