Do I need a Brook Wingman FGC2 to run the QuadStick with a PS5?

If so is it complicated to setup up?

There are about a dozen ways to connect to the PS5.  The FGC2 is the easiest.  It goes in between the Quadstick and the PS5.

Using an old version of PS Remote Play on a PC is another.  There are open source software solutions as well.  Those methods get really complicated.

Sorry I accidently sent a direct message before rather than here.

Are there any guides available explaining how to set up the FGC2 with the Quadstick and the PS5?

There is a video:

Note that the PS5 requires the PS button be pressed to wake up the connection.   In his video the PS button is mapped to the lip button.  In the factory default configuration files that come with the Quadstick, the PS button is mapped to a soft sip on the middle hole of the mouthpiece.  Soft sips must be held until a beep is heard to activate.

I have the wingman P5 and it connects fine but when I switched to my configuration everything seems delayed or like it might require more force. Any suggestions of why that might be? Have attached a copy of configuration.

The latest update was just yesterday.

You could try a controller only USB mode, like 1, 3, or 7.  See if the extra USB interfaces of the other modes are causing your problem.

Is the delay on all actions, joystick movement, lip button, and sip/puff?  Sip/puffs can be delayed by any blockage in the airway or tubing.  The more plugged up the mouthpiece, the slower the pressure will build up behind it.

Thanks I'll try that. I'll be away from my gaming for a couple weeks but I'll let you know when I give it a go.
