Hello guys I need help and suggestions from you guys

Here’s the set up that I’m looking to have working:
The way I want to play is having my quadstick to control all the buttons with the Sip and Puff and movement forward backward left and right with the joystick of the quadstick and my Xbox adaptive controller For additional buttons and as for rotating and looking around when playing I want to use My trackball

I had a good set up for two years but for about two weeks ago for no reason my trackball is not turning after playing 30 minutes or a little bit more it starts to not turn around and if I pause the game wait a little bit and return to the game It will start working again but for not long so I tried having support from Cronusmax and nothing so far so I’m looking for another way to have this to work right now I have a good script for the games that I’m playing with my quadstick That I like that is setup in the quadstick and I want to keep that it’s just that I need a way to have my trackball to work again

The way that I have been having it to work since 2018 is I open my Xbox one after it’s loaded into the Xbox screen I plug-in my Cronusmax after a few seconds I plug in my Xbox controller into the Cronusmax after that a few seconds there also I will unplug the Xbox controller And I will plug the cable for the quad stick and leave this one plugged in and on the side of the Cronusmax I will plug the little cable that goes into my laptop and I have the program from Kronosmax open and go into X-aim And load my trackball setup and That is what I have been doing to play my games and it was working awesome until two weeks ago

So should I try using another thing that is simple to program To use for my trackball please help it would be much appreciated

I was thinking of the Cronus Zen so what do you guys think

Hi Terry

Do you think the problem could be with your trackball? Is it an optical trackball? I have been in a wheelchair almost 38 years now & had numerous troubles in that time with my trackball is stopping all of a sudden :-) usually I get a can of compressed air & blow through it to get rid of the dust as they can be notorious for collecting dust in the guts of the trackballs mechanism

Just thinking out loud hope you get it sorted

Cheers Richard

Did your computer recently update its Windows version?

I don't think the CronusZen has an X-Aim type program.  It may however allow you to plug the trackball directly into the Zen itself.

The hookup would be XAC into port A1, the Quadstick into port A2, and the trackball into port A3.

There would be some configuring to tell it how to map the trackball and you may need to run the quadstick in a pure controller emulation (1 or 3) to avoid it being seen as a keyboard or mouse.

Hi Guys, I received my conusmax zen yesterday and I want to know if any of you have it setup with your quadstick... also Fred you told me to run the quadstick in pure control emulator 1 or 2 so how do I do this and will I need to keep the QPM program running when I will play.

the way I need this to work is My trackball for looking arround and turning, my quadstick for movement forward, backward, left, right and pretty much all the buttons of the controller are programed tru the sip & puff and I also have the xbox adaptive controller for a few additional buttons.

Please somebody help me
thanks
Terry

The CronusMax Zen does not work with QMP.  It is not the same as the CronusMax Plus.  It is not an improved CronusMax Plus, it is a completely different kind of device.  As far as I know, they do not have an X-Aim type program for it.   Their use case is to plug controllers, keyboards and mouse devices directly into the Zen, not relayed through a PC.  This may change, I don't keep up with their development.

I think I said you may need to use emulations modes 1 or 3.

USB emulation mode 2 is only for the X360CE program to get analog triggers while maintaining USB access to the keyboard and mouse functions on a Windows PC.  It is not for any other purpose and will not work with any USB converter devices.

The Zen should work with the Quadstick as a crossover converter with the quadstick in USB modes 1 or 3.  Maybe 7, but I do not know definitely.   Use mode 1.

" and will I need to keep the QPM program running when I will play."  For what purpose?   Voice commands?

If you need to use QMP to relay external pointers to the Quadstick, and then to a console, the CronusMax Plus and the Console Tuner Titan One are the only devices that will work for that.
