Do I need to get the magic x- wireless adaptive? Or can I use something else? The quadstick clocks out after about 20 minutes

What does " The quadstick clocks out after about 20 minutes" mean?   Describe what you see and how things are connected.  What to the lights on the quadstick do?

According to their website, the P5MATE will work with  Cronus Zen, Titan Two, XIM Matrix, Xim Apex and  ReaSnow S1.

We know the quadstick will work with the Zen, the Titan Two, and the XIM Matrix.

I have never tested the quadstick with the Magic-S

When I say clock out I mean the Quadstick will just stop working. When gaming for about 10 minutes the game will stop and it would be as if I press the PS button. That will happen twice and then the Quadstick will just completely stop. But it won't pop up on the PS5 saying that the controller has been disconnected. This is just me plugging the Quadstick directly into the P5Mate. This is kind of reminds me how when using the PS4 and plugging the controller into the back of the Quadstick if not setup correctly the Quadstick will disconnect from the PS4 would stop

I will try it with the Titan Two. Do I need to add the specialty controller still?

I wasn't aware anyone had the quadstick working directly with the P5MATE.  I thought they all were going through another USB adapter.  What firmware version are you running in the quadstick?

Turn on the Titan Two PS4 flag to disable the Quadstick from attempting to re-authorize the connection to the console.   The quadstick probably cannot tell the difference between the P5MATE  and a PS4 console so it tries to keep resetting the connection periodically unless you turn on that flag.

Should I uncheck "Enable Boot In PS4 USB Mode"

You are forcing the USB mode to 7 in the configuration preferences, so it does not matter what mode the quadstick boots in.

You could also disable PS4 authentication by adding a preference row to set the Titan Two PS4 flag to the Preferences sheet in your configuration

The name of the preference is:  "titan_two"

Preferences

Can be set in prefs.csv or Preferences page in game csv file

Can be changed with voice command, or file
PreferenceValueUnitsCan be changed on Mode sheet, Command or file
titan_two1
Disable authentication
enable_DS3_emulation7
DS4

The names of variables and preferences get set in stone, then their meaning can change over time.  When "enable_DS3_emulation" was named, there were only two emulation modes, 0 and 1, for the default and the Dual Shock3 emulation.  Now there are eight emulation modes, so if I was naming that today, it would be just "USB_emulation_mode".

The same goes for "titan_two".  The supported USB adapters were CronusMax Plus (in partial (direct) and full "crossover" (USB hub) configurations), the Titan One, and then the Titan Two.  The Quadstick can determine if it is connected to a PC, PS3, PS4, CronusMax Plus or Titan One directly, or a CronusMax Plus via a USB hub, it can tell all of those apart, but a Titan Two behaves exactly like a PS4 console and we would try to take over the authentication process, so we needed another setting to tell them apart, to disable the authentication program.

Then along came the Cronus Zen and Beloader products, which sometimes seem like a PS4 console, so they need the authentication process turned off, too.

Refactoring those names would require updating every configuration spreadsheet out there.

There is a programming joke that goes:

There are 2 hard problems in computer science: cache invalidation, naming things, and off-by-1 errors.

Haha!. Funny Joke

So I was just playing my PS5 for a little over 30 minutes and had no interpretation. This is with the Quadstick plugged directly into the P5Mate.

This is what I have set in my QMP:

So can I start putting this  "titan_two" preference in each configuration spreadsheet or do I have to wait until you update things?

Lastly, I am trying to find out how to do PCPROG with the P5Mate. I wonder if it is possible. I can use the USB method but I have to add this preference sheet. I really don't like this way of using PCPROG because of the waiting for the Quadstick to reboot to go back and forth from PC to Game and vice versa. Also, will the USB method still even work with this  "titan_two" preference?

Did u update your firmware? Mine is 2328 and I tried everything you did it's not working.

Yeah, my firmware has always been on 2328. Go in the QMP or add that "Titan Two" preference to your spreadsheet

It works for me easily. I just plug the Quadstick directly into the P5Mate.

II am trying to do PCPROG using the  Titan Two. The Titan Two is setup properly but once I connect the Titan Two to the P5Mate the Titan Two has the red lights on it and it doesn't work anymore. I've been trying to get this working all day. I use PCPROG for streaming purposes. I tried setting it up also with the Cronus Zen but I was unsuccessful on my end.

Here are the videos on how to set it up but it was still a little unclear.

It does not always work.

I've searched for P5Mate in the Zen forums and they just don't mention it
