Hi, great, I'll test it! 

Many filters could be a bad idea, but I love them, so a year filter is a nice function that could be considered.

The first time I used the app more than three consecutive very old movies were picked.

There is a year filter but it is only available once you enter genres and get first recommendation, but I think it makes more sense to add it to the main screen itself. Thanks for the feedback.

Old movies three times in a row is weird but possible, the matching algorithm prefers newer content but it is probability based so might have been an edge case but I'll check it out, thanks a lot for the feedback.
