Hi,

When we submit a measure to the API, we get an output line with the line  "isGhost": false. For example:

                      },
                      "noBenchmarks": false,
                      "benchmarkType": "registry",
                      "eMeasureId": null,
                      "toppedOut": true,
                      "isGhost": false,
                      "unroundedScoreValue": 10
                    }

What is the meaning of "isGhost"?

Are there circumstances where one would get "isGhost": true ?

Thank you ,

Paulo

Hi Paulo,

Yes, it is meta data associated with the EMA process. If a clinician is eligible for EMA, but does not have patients for certain measures in the cluster, to receive credit they are to report a 0 for all the mandatory fields. This is considered a ghost measure.
