Many of you have asked questions regarding how submissions from 2017 Qualified Registries and QCDRs will be scored. We have written the attached “explainer” document to help you better understand scoring of Qualified Registry and QCDR submissions to the Quality Payment Program in Year 1 (2017). This document is provided for informational purposes only, and is not an official directive, guideline or rule.

Thanks for this scoring guide and the qualifiers associated with it, remember that for small practices (those with fewer than 15 clinicians and/or special status designation) the IA points are worth dble, so one high level activity meet full category performance or 2 medium level activities. In addition, though this is a QCDR google group, if clinicians reported less than 6 quality measures or did not include an outcome measure via a "qualified registry", then they are subject to EMA and they could have their denominator reduced if it is determined they could have reported 6 etc..

Hi Abhijeet,

We didn't make a file like this for this year, but not much has changed. I would check out the QPP Resource Library if you have specific questions about how certain categories are scored: https://qpp.cms.gov/about/resource-library
