Hi QLab

I'd like to project an image over an existing image.  I've been able to do this using varied opacities when they are both full screen, however we want to zoom out on this particular overlay to make the subject smaller.... but when I do this the frame of the overlay shot also zooms out and becomes quite visible and ugly.

Is there a way I can target in on the subject of my overlay (I know how to crop it, but I still get a hard edged frame) but somehow have it 'feather' out into a soft blur so I don't see the transition to the edge of  the frame?

Thanks

Hi

The “Shutter” video effect has a feather edge parameter.

Happy feathering

Thank you, Tim!   Simple once you find it... I didn't know it was there.    Cheers!
