Hello everyone!

I’ve been searching to find out how to run scripts from Qlab to send HTTP requests / commands to my Panasonic PTZ controller. I came across the article with Ra Byn and Rich on the fact that is possible but wasn’t sure HOW to do it.

Currently, my workaround is to use bomes midi translator pro to go from a Korg nano control button press to a mouse click on a browser window refresh button with the HTTP requests in the browser address bar and it works pretty good, but I’d rather not have a bunch of browser windows open on my desktop, each with their own HTTP request command, but instead run a script with Q lab in the background. Plus, if a browser window gets moved then I have to relearn the mouse click positioning on Bomes. Anywho!! Thanks for any guidance you can give me! -Zack

I have a similar question.  Sorry, for no answer.  I'm trying to get Qlab to have a cue to send a preset recall to a Panasonic AW-RP50N for a camera preset for a Panasonic AW-HE50SN camera.  The Panasonic only receives network and ASCII on both devices.  Suggestions welcomed!

Attached is a QLab file I created to control remote power on and off of our Panasonic VX510 projectors via AppleScript. You will need to replace the IP address in the script with the IP address of your device.

Probably won't work as is with your specific Panasonic devices, but might give you an idea where to start.

Thanks Clay.  This is a great start.  I thought that my Panasonic would need to use a different type script to receive the command so, this is good news.
Thank you,
