How can I delete all the fade points for an audio cue? I know how to delete them one at a time, and I know how to turn them all off, but I'd like to be able to delete all of them in one action.

Thanks,
John

I just got QLab and am loving it although it's taking me a little time to get used to its complexity. I'm using it strictly to play audio cues, and only one cue at a time.

Hi John,

Are you referring to integrated fade envelope points within an Audio cue, or Fade cues within the cue list? If it is the former, click on the yellow circles indicating level changes and press the Delete key. You can also select the last point created and repeatedly hit Delete to kill them in reverse order of creation.

If you want to do a bulk delete of multiple fade cues in a cue list (or any cues for that matter) select the cues as necessary with the Shift key and press Command+Delete.

Yes, the former. I know the method you described and I consider it deleting the fade points one at at time. I'd like to be able to delete them all in a single action, rather than an action for each fade point.

Actually that's not quite how it works. You need to click on the point at the last point in the envelope i.e the rightmost point in the timeline. Repeated deletes will then remove them right to left. This means that is easy to reset the fade envelope to it's original state. With default autorepeat even  100 points on an envelope are deleted in seconds. A reset envelope shortcut might be a useful addition, but in the meantime just selecting the last pout and holding down delete is almost as effective.

For completeness I should have added that the start and end points of the envelope can't be deleted, for obvious reasons, so,if you use the 'select rightmost point and hold down delete' method you need to select the point, one before the end. If you have changed the levels of the start or end point you will need to reset these manually.
