Hello friends

Today we are pleased to release QLab 4.6.7 for your downloading pleasure. This release is, as usual, a free update to all users of QLab 4.

This release resolves all known substantive issues with QLab pertaining to Apple Silicon and to macOS Big Sur (macOS 11), and so this release is officially compatible with Apple Silicon Macs and all Macs running macOS Big Sur. Obviously it’s possible that new issues will be discovered in the future, or that new updates to Mac hardware or macOS will introduce new issues with QLab, but of course that’s how it always is with computers.

Also included in this release are a few small but important changes and fixes related to bundling, auto-following Video cues without audio tracks, and the Active Cues display of cues with non-infinitely looping slices.

You can download QLab 4.6.7 from https://qlab.app or from within QLab by choosing “Check for updates” from the QLab menu. As always, we welcome any thoughts, comments, ideas, complaints, and suggestions at sup...@figure53.com.

On behalf of the whole Figure 53 team,
Sam

Hello, there is an error that I have already notified you and it continues to be. When you write something about notes, the word notes remains and overlaps the written text. It is quite uncomfortable. At the moment I have not tried much more, if I detect something I will let you know. Cheers

Hello folks

There appears to be an issue with version 4.6.7 that did not appear during testing which is fairly serious.

We’re investigating and hope to have a new release soon. If you’ve already updated and are having problems, you can download 4.6.6 here:

https://qlab.app/downloads/archive/QLab-4.6.6.zip

Sorry for the trouble.

Best,
Sam

What issue are you talking about Sam? The notes issue or something different?

Best,
Ruud

Hi Ruud

It’s something different. If you’re running into it, you’ll know for sure because it prevents you from using QLab entirely, though it only happens some of the time and in certain situations.

We’re trying to get 4.6.8 released ASAP.

Ok thnx.

Got a production on monday and if possible I would like to run on the m1 I already have. Works fine for me now but doubting if I should hire other macbooks.

Best,
Ruud
