I keep getting this error when I try to save a workspace? Then QLab says it can't save the file. I have restarted and run disk utility.

Running 4.2

Gonna try the update.

Update didn't work.

I was able to save a new empty file to the desktop but not a older version with all my cues in it.

I tried a couple different ones that I know I have saved in the past.

Hi Mark,

It would help to get a copy of the workspace, rather than a screenshot of the workspace.

Please send to sup...@figure53.com

4.1.7 works as expected.

Since the copy you sent me does Dave successfully in 4.2, one thing you could do to narrow down the problem would be to systematically delete cues and try to determine if there is a particular cue that is causing problems.

This is a large and complex workspace that seems to be interacting with a lot of outside programs, so reducing the complexity while troubleshooting will help

So interesting. It is the Cue List called Piano. It has 567 cues in it.

I will start deleting cues in there and narrow it down.

It’s quite the puzzle. :-)

Well…..3400 cues later….

I found the one cue causing the trouble. It was a video cue with a tiny alpha video in it. I deleted the cue and linked the same video to it and all is well.

Thanks for the guidance and support.

I guess "the ghost in the machine" got me.

Thanks for the help.
