Hey Everyone,

I'm new with Qlab.

I do not know how to set my screens in QLAB so that they are recognized and splitted by the MATROX (Triple Head2Go - for only 2 projectors)and then recognized in the ATEM Studio 4K.
Somebody can help me with the workflow!

Thank's
Adrien

The Matrox unit is seen by the Mac as a single display.

What you want to do is create a multi-screen surface in QLab.

Have you setup a video license?

I have a video license of QLAB.
If I plug two independent screens via the matrox, I can have two separate screens.
But when I plug the matrox on a ATEM TELEVISION HD STUDIO via connectivity DISPLAYPORT / HDMI, I can not have an image in my ATEM.

If you ever have an idea.
I may have to configure the signal in 1080p25 at the exit of the 2017 IMAC, but I do not know how.

Good to you

Can you clarify your setup a bit for me?

You have a Mac with QLab, and a Matrox device (dual or triple) plugged into that Mac.

From there, one or both signals go into the Atem Television Studio?

Yes, i have Qlab in my mac.
A Matrox triplehead2go dp edition is link to that computer, but i only use 2 head (1 & 3).
From this Matrox i plug two cables : Displayport/HDMI to an ATEM TELEVISION STUDIO in HDMI.
The idea is to have two differentes video in Qlab as two differents signal in the ATEM to switch between them (and a camera on stage)

But with this set up In the ATEM, i have a black screen.

To be sure of the problem,  i plug two different screen From the MATROX and i have the video signal on the two screen related to Qlab.
But when i connect the MATROX with the ATEM again : no signal.

I heard about a HDCP protocol with HDMI.
Some on forum use a convertiser between the matrox and the ATEM.

If you have an idea.
Thank's

(Sorry for my english...)

The problem is almost certainly the resolution, frame rate, or HDCP settings coming out of the TripleHead2Go.

Based on your using it for only two monitors, I'm guessing you already have the Matrox PowerDesk software running on your Mac.

You should be able to use that to adjust the resolution of the two external displays. I've had success sending 1920x1080 60p to the ATEM product line.

You also might consider posting your query over on atemuser.com, since this problem is more in line with the nuts and bolts of the ATEM system, as opposed to QLab itself.

Let me know if resolution changes provide any help!

I don't know if you've figured this out yet or not but you probably need an HDMI-SDI converter between the Matrox and the ATEM. ATEMs are notoriously picky about their incoming signals. The Matrox is probably putting out a slightly different signal than the ATEM is expecting. I've also used Matrox Convert DVI boxes, but they're about $1,000. The Decimator MD-HX will do it for about $300.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you need more info about this setup, settings to change, etc.
