QLab Trigger By USB Joystick/Gamepad Buttons?

Does anyone know if I can trigger QLab cues with the buttons on a standard USB joystick/gamepad device?

Yeah, I did exactly that a couple of years ago for a show. I found a utility on the App Store that will convert the controller buttons to keystrokes. Then map them in QLab, either as control or on individual cues. 

You'll have to run that utility in the background with QLab, but I didn't have a problem with that. I don't remember the name of the app, but if you can't find it write back and I'll look next time I'm at my computer. If memory serves, there was more than one available.

Search for Multi Control.

It is a free and spectacular software.

You can format to recognize Midi or OSC commands.

( I built a trigger using Arcade plate and several buttons).
