Hi Tyler,
Since we've now released QLab 4, and moved over to a new licensing system, we've finally ended support for QLab 2. While I know that's sad news, it's been a long time coming... QLab 3 was released 3.5 years ago, and in fact QLab 2 has not been compatible with the last two OS versions that Apple has released.
QLab 3 is still supported, and runs on computers running at least OS 10.8, while QLab 4 requires at least OS 10.10. If your computer is from 2007 or later, it should be able to run any OS from 10.8 onwards, so there are definitely options for all but the oldest of Macs. You can find a helpful chart of which OS versions work on which Mac models at
https://eshop.macsales.com/guides/Mac_OS_X_CompatibilityAs a very small company, we're at the limits of what we can support to support two versions of QLab across five different OS versions, and unfortunately we just don't have any way to keep supporting QLab 2, especially since the only computers that can't run QLab 3 are at least 9 years old at this point.
Thanks!
-Andy
