The tutorial states that when warping, resolution of regions in example should be "set to stage" and I'm having difficulty understanding why that is preferred to "set to route."  What is criteria for making a decision of one over the other.
Thankyou.  Finally making switch to Qlab 5 at our facility and trying to catch up quickly.

I'll have a look at that section of the tutorial later, and try to answer your question.

But.... If you are trying to catch up quickly with the QLab video features in QLab 5, then an advanced chapter in the Cookbook may not be the best place to start!

All the features you need to use QLab5  video  are documented here:

Hello John

The QLab Cookbook is not a set of tutorials designed to teach QLab fundamentals. The cookbook explores advanced concepts, specific situations, and esoteric use cases.

If you’re looking to get started, here are the tutorials in the QLab manual meant for more general application:

Thanks Sam & Mic.  I was a fairly advanced 4.7 video user and trying to adapt that to the capabilities available in 5, specifically sending to multi-output stages. I sort of feel like I'm learning a new language and know what the words mean but can't put them into sentences yet.
