Power spectrum plotting? I couldn't find anything on API, want to double check.

Hi,

Do you mean a power spectrum for the continuous wavelet transform? If so, there is a demo here that you could follow:

There are currently no functions related to plotting or visualization in PyWavelets. It just implements the transforms themselves and some basic related operations like thresholding.

Cheers,
Greg

Thanks for the link.

For future readers, MATLAB has a function to plot power spectrum for CWT. R has a package called WaveletComp which has a function wt.image() to plot power spectrum ( and which I am using)

Aah thanks.

Again for future users I am using cumulative areawise significance testing on wavelet power spectra, so I have been using R 'biwavelet' and 'advbiwavelet'. pywt does not support this significance testing. Makes pretty plots really easily.
