Program in Python without Maya

Curious, suppose you don't have Maya available can you still learn with the SDK and Python without it ? If it's a stupid question; just let me know ! :-)

You can definitely learn Python without Maya. But learning the Maya SDK or commands may prove challenging, without actually having Maya.
