Run python instead in sublime ?

Instead of using Script editor, can I use Sublime text to do my Python code and have syntax error highlighting while simultaneously code can be automatically executing in Maya, instead of copying and pasting to the script editor ?

I maintain a SublimeText plugin to do exactly that:

You can actually install it directly from the Sublime Package Manager:
