Hi all,
I found $(Maya2013_Root)\devkit\other\pymel\ contains many py files, which are similar to $(Maya2013_Root)\Python\Lib\site-packages\*.py and contains more python source code.
Could you tell me what $(Maya2013_Root)\devkit\other\pymel\*.py are used for?

They are for IDEs (PyCharm, WingIDE, Eclipse etc.), you practically let the IDE to scan those *.py files and help you while developing by showing up completions/quick helps etc.
