Hi python-can devs,

We have been using python-can with vector and peak hardware.
For some automated test system we are now employing National Instruments hardware with NI-9860 XNET CAN Interfaces.

Has there been work done on supporting the NI-XNET drivers, which are replacing the old NI- CAN drivers?

Thank you!
Best regards,
Jonathan

Not to my knowledge. You are most welcome to contribute a new interface for it!

Hello together,

This Email was quite a long time ago, but I think my question fits.

I´ve tried to add the NI-Xnet Interface to the python-can package with the official NI implementation -> https://github.com/ni/nixnet-python

Maybe someone could take a short look over my code, because i´ve not that much experience with python.

Best Regards,

Simon

Hi Simon,

I will give it a go and get back to you.
I never managed to test my own (very rough) implementation.

We have some python based scripts to flash ECUs and I would like to use them with our NI based test system without implementing everything in Labview.

Best regards,
Jonathan
