ZODB-uri pull requests

Hello,

I have opened two pull requests [1] [2] on the Pylons/zodburi repository. They did not have received a lot of attention since last year though at least one of them [1] should be pretty simple to review.

Can someone here could help me with these?

Given the activity on this very project, would you consider give commit rights to more maintainers?
