Error in Sharing exe 'permission

I am having an issue, where I have successfully generated the .exe for the GUI I have been making with tkinter, but cannot run it when I try and move the directory elsewhere. I want to take the application I have made, and put it on a flashdrive and share it with a colleague, but when I run it from my flashdrive (or when my colleague runs it from his computer) we get this error - 'Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.'. I am not sure what the issue is, as I have copped the entire [filename] folder from inside the 'dist' folder, and also tried copying the entire folder with dist and build, all with the same results.

Update: I zipped the dist file, and transferred it to my colleague using a flashdrive. For some reason he was then able to unzip it, and the error was gone.
