Hi Jason

When next release will be available ?

Can you please create macro  "Write attributes for new accounts @LDAP:*@ will look up information from LDAP. If the account is new, no information is there"

Thanks
Mohamed

Hi Mohamed,

Version 1.7.1 does not any new features, except for two new languages. 1.7.1 is, as the release notes state, an intermediate bug fix release. If you'd like to speed up the process of getting the next real version ready, there are several ways you can contribute:
  • Grab the trunk source code from SVN or a daily build and start testing it. Report any problems with details and patches to fix the problems you find.
  • Checkout the trunk source code and program the improvements you need, submit them to the developers for review.
  • Sponsor us by calling our employers and buy some of our time to get things done. A lot of the development work is done in our spare time.

Regards,

Menno

we need to change the code so the write attributes happens after the internal authentication so that you can use ldap attributes.

Thanks

@LDAP:cn@ will look up information from LDAP. If the account is new, no information is there

Thanks

Hi Mohamed,

The functionality is available in the nightly build. Please download one of those and test the software. It's very unlikely that this functionality will be back-patched to 1.7.x. There is no release scheduled for 1.8.0, yet. If people start testing and reporting back on the development version, that may help speed up the process of getting things out.

Thanks,

Menno
