Thanks very much, Kevin. I have this one, but I know that the Series 5 already had much better UV response, so using the Series 4 SR with current CdTe modules would probably be quite far off the mark. 🙁

Ok, so it seems everyone has signed NDAs or something. Is anyone able and willing to comment qualitatively on the differences between First Solar Series 4.2 spectral response and later series?

Thanks for thinking of this, Cliff. I had looked up Keith's
presentation already, and have now looked at Daniel's as well.
Indeed they both appear to have spectral response data, but given
the commercial nature of those presentations, I do not think that
they will share this data.
Based on information that I have been able to find, it appears
that the SR of the FS modules has not changed significantly since
the Series 4.2. That would be the non-authoritative answer
to my qualitative question. Perhaps it helps someone out
there who has the older data and is wondering about using it
today.
I think the most promising avenue for getting the actual SR measurements into the public domain would be for a national lab to take the initiative.
