Oh, I tweeted about it, but should probably mention it here - this week I'm all in on puzzlescript - accepting changes from other people, fixing bugs, and the like. 


Because of this, puzzlescript will be better - it already is in many ways after the last two days. But it might also be a bit less stable - some bugs might make it through.  So let me know if anything's amiss!

(no new features to announce yet, just minor tweaks, and some massaging of cursed edge-cases into less-cursed edge-cases https://github.com/increpare/PuzzleScript/issues/977 being maybe the highlight in that regard).

Any feature requests, usability tweaks, or the like? Now's a good time to mention them :)

About requests O:-)
Personally my main pet peeve with puzzlescript is that it is "hard" to change a color that appears on several objects.
What I would find useful would be to define colors like
Fabric #2222BB
Leather #97572b
(maybe in a ===== color ===== section?)

And then I can define my objects as usual with

Player
Fabric Leather #ff99ff Black
.333.
.222.
20002
.111.
.0.0.

While being able to change my colors all in one place (especially is several objects use Fabric or Leather)
I often do that "late in development" to ensure the contrast is good enough, etc.

Now I do realise that the color data isn't the most necessary feature for puzzlescript but well since you were asking O:-)
It is possible that other PS branches offer this feature already, or better system for the same need, not sure.

Thanks for the suggestion :). Not adding the learning/usage overhead for specifying colours, but I see where you're coming from  :). (I rejoiced when CSS got colour variable declarations 😅 )

It's weird how, even though I've had a lot of issues w/ Puzzlescript, that I can't seem to remember any of them . I'll try to report anything I see.

I think a statistical numeral system should be added: It would work like sound effects, where you declare them in a section, and use them in rules. You can do at least (or at most) 2 things w/ them: increment and message. Messaging is using something like “messagestat push”, which would message the number by itself. I think this would be a lot more easier than adding full-on variables.

Also, Are cond.s and var.s on the roadmap?
