PuppetDB with postgres

to Puppet Users

just realised my puppetdb attached to pgsql is configured for latin1

is it okay to stop all puppet services and then export , recreate the database to utf8 and then restart

I'm getting these in my log
ERROR: character with byte sequence 0xe2 0x80 0x9c in encoding "UTF8" has no equivalent in encoding "LATIN1"
