puppetlabs/gce_compute is abandoned? anybody needs metadata/etc update functionality?

Hi everybody! 

Does anybody maintain the module? 

I'm interested if anybody else has a need to supply metadata information (and possible image type) and have it updated on running instance.

Basically module is good only for creating the instances. Once instance is created - it cannot apply updates to the instance configuration like

• add/remove tags
• add/remove metadata
• change image and restart instance
  
• add/remove  secondary disks and so on

So I wonder if anybody is interested in that kind of functionality or not?
