puppet enterprise fresh install

So I just installed puppet enterprise 3.0 on a centos 6 server.  Everything went smoothly during the install, and then I logged into the console and I get a error for the server it's self. 

"Could not retrieve facts from inventory service: 400 "Bad Request""

I could not figure out why the local server can not connect.  Everything appears to be running smoothly.  So to be clear all conponents are all installed on the same server.   I have not added any additional clients except for the server it's self.
