The latest patch release for the current Long Term Support (LTS) release of Puppet Enterprise, PE 2018.1.12, is now available.
This is a backward-compatible release that contains bug fixes and enhancements, including:
- Puppet ensures platform repositories aren't installed in order to prevent accidental agent upgrade
- Windows install script optionally downloads a tarball of plug-ins
- Windows install script optionally downloads a tarball of plug-ins

As a current Puppet Enterprise user, you can upgrade to this new version as part of your annual subscription. When upgrading, you must upgrade infrastructure components first and then update agents.
