Hi!

it looks like between Puppet Agent 6.7.2 and 6.8.0 , running "puppet agent -t " started picking
up the http_proxy environment setting  .  is there a configuration option to disable that behavior?

Thanks!

You should be able to add a list of exclusions to NO_PROXY (environment variable) or no_proxy (puppet setting). See related tickets fixed in 6.8.0:

That said I would not expect 6.8.0 to start using the http_proxy environment setting if it didn't previously in 6.7.2. What are your HTTP_PROXY and NO_PROXY environment variables and puppet settings on the agent?

Also you may be running into https://tickets.puppetlabs.com/browse/PUP-9990, but I haven't been able to reproduce so far.
