Manage file or directory with accent

Hi,

I have some trouble with file or directory containing French accent. How could I managed file or directory with accent?

I tried using 8.3 file name format without success.

Someone had this kind of problem?

For what it's worth, this works for me on a UTF-8 console:

puppet apply -e 'file { "/tmp/bär": ensure => file }'

I cannot comment much further without knowing more about your environment.
