Puppet Agent can't retrieve certificate

Dear All,

I am new to puppet and I just start to learn it. After my installation Puppetmaster on Ubuntu tursty, I install an agent on my Windows PC. However when I wish to send certificate request, the error comes out like this:

Error: could not request certificate: error 400 on server: the environment must be purely alhanumeric, not ' puppet-ca'

How should I change the environment? I follow the instruction from a book, but puppet.conf doesn't contain much info regarding environment by default.

See Config Files[1]. note that some books out there may not have anything related to changes to directory environments.
