Puppet Platform 5.5.12 and 6.0.7 are now available!

[Puppet Product Updates]

We’re happy to announce the next set of releases for the Puppet 5.5 (LTS series) and Puppet 6.0 (Feature series) are now available. These releases contain security updates, bug fixes and other improvements, notably:

• Added support for macOS Mojave (10.14) agents.

• Updates to Puppet Server's SSL (bouncycastle) library from upstream to address security issues.

• Security patch applied to Ruby to address disclosed vulnerabilities (https://blog.rubygems.org/2019/03/05/security-advisories-2019-03.html).

• An improvement to the Puppet agent's log output to distinguish between intentional change (additional or updated resources in the catalog) and corrective change (drift detected on the node).

• Improvement to debug logging to capture the command that would be run in no-op exec resources.

Note that Agent support has been removed for SLES 11/12 (s390x) as part of these releases. (PA-2489).
