Jira (PDB-4786) Cannot choose http for puppetdb connection

Blue Umbrella created an issue

Puppet Version: 6.10.1
Puppet Server Version: 6.11.1
OS Name/Version: CentOS 8.1.1911

Desired Behavior:

To use the http connector to puppetdb and avoid java crypto problems.

Actual Behavior:

puppetserver rejects urls with http:// and insists on https:// - if I wanted security advice on when to encrypt and not to encrypt, I'd ask.

Error message:

PuppetDB 'server_urls' must be https, found 'http://localhost:8080'
