The 2.5.x versions are having issues getting the MAC and IP addresses of Infiniband adapters on CentOS 7.x platforms.

The issue is due to the change in the 'ifconfig dev' output for infiniband devices.

The new ifconfig ib0 output has the following line:
infiniband 80:00:00:03:FE:80:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00 txqueuelen 256 (InfiniBand)
Instead of:
HWaddr 80:00:00:03:FE:80:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00 txqueuelen 256 (Ethernet)
or (like ethernet device)
ether 80:00:00:03:FE:80:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00 txqueuelen 256
