In the process of fixing PE-22951, we've had to revert a bunch of code related to the Solaris SMF provider, including a commit which consolidated the SMF acceptance tests for efficiency: https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet/commit/b539fe581f372514e28f4c7e095d81dc8b0f500c

Once PE-22951 is fixed, this ticket is to track the work of re-consolidating those SMF tests that were split up again  by  when  reverting the above commit.

Re: Restore refactored Solaris SMF acceptance tests to consolidate them We've made improvements to puppet CI so that tests run relatively quickly and we've dropped a number of EOL Solaris platforms, so I'm going to close this. Feel free to reopen if there is still a need for this.
