Henrik Lindberg feel free to reopen if there's a path forward on this. Is PUP-10233 an example of the current slowness?

Josh, yes, that is a description. And what is suggested there (using the go parser) is perhaps a better choice. I don't really want to reopen the ticket just making a note for posterity if someone digs it out again or likes the idea for other reasons. The con of the idea is that you would need some kind of build step and ideas requiring that has not been received positively in the past - so I don't think people really want to go down that path - and hence why the idea of using the go parser in PUP-10233 is the better idea IMO).
