I have recently changed our NTP servers from 1.pool.ntp.org to time.google.com
Getting Event ID 36

Microsoft-Windows-Time-Service

I have run W32tm /resync /computer:time.google.com /nowait and get :The following error occurred: The RPC server is unavailable. (0x800706BA)
When I run a tracert all hops time out
UDP port 123 is open

Any ideas on how to resolve would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Barry

Thanks for the report.  We have got a steady stream of traffic to time.google.com at the moment though.   Can you post the full command and output of your tracert ?

Thanks!

Problems like this are usually caused by firewall configuration or packet filters on your machine or its local network routers.
