8.8.8.8 not reachable anymore from BT Broadband network in UK

Hi all, since few minutes the google public DNS server 8.8.8.8 is not reachable anymore from BT Broadband in UK, neither by ping nor by name resolution. 

Not sure, if there is a problem with the server or is it a routing issue?

Traceroute seems not to leave the BT network:

We're showing normal incoming traffic levels in that region, so I suspect it's a small scale issue with one ISP.  You should talk to your ISP (BT?) about connectivity issues.
