I'm pretty sure the blurryness must be present in your source images.
Could you take a second look?
If PTGui is blending with optimum seams enabled, it's possible that the
seam will be placed such that the outer part of an image is used in the
blend. Usually the image quality near the outer part of the lens is
worse than the center. You could disable Optimum Seams in the Panorama
Editor, Blending side bar and see if that improves the result.
But it's also possible that one of the images is not in focus.
If this is not the issue, please make your source images and project
file available and I'll take a look.
